2021 Stetten Berge Lemberger Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Firm, slightly smoky, restrained roasted and bacony nose, ripe black berries with peppery spice, some sour cherries, root vegetables, cocoa, cloves and tobacco. Taut, tart, juicy, youthful black fruit, quite dark, a little reminiscent of bread crust spice with smoky and slightly roasted tones, again pepper, cocoa and coffee, fine sandy, ripe tannin, chalky and salty tones in the background, ethereal-herbal notes, good depth, a hint of bacon, has power, but also cooling elements, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with grip.
