2016 Volkach Karthäuser Weißburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Light nutty notes on the nose, ripe citrus fruit, light stone and pomaceous fruit, dried vegetal and herbaceous notes, hint of tobacco, delicate hint of oak, watercress, prominent mineral notes. Ripe, juicy, slightly warm and fairly creamy fruit on the palate, elegant acidity, integrated tannins, persistent, has substance, full body, partly dried herbs and flowers in the background, prominent mineral notes, gripping, hint of tobacco, very slightly sweetish and creamy, very good finish.
