2015 Volkach Karthäuser Weißburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Nutty, earthy and light dried vegetal notes on the nose, yellow fruit, very light lactic and volatile notes. Ripe, creamy, partly preserved and candied fruit on the palate, lively acidity, slightly astringent tannins, light nutty oak, full-bodied, fairly persistent, slightly sweetish and creamy, vegetal aromas, earthy and mineral notes, some grip, noticeable alcohol, delicate smoky notes, very good juicy, ripe, fruity finish.
