2014 Iphofen Julius-Echter-Berg Silvaner Grosses Gewächs trocken, Franconia/Franken, Germany

Firm nose, elegant vegetal and herbaceous notes, prominent mineral notes, some pomaceous fruit and a hint of citrus. Clear, polished, tart juicy fruit on the palate, light nutty notes, earthy and mineral noteds, persistent, elegant acidity, good grip and substance, still largely undeveloped, some depth, medium body, hint of tobacco in the background, yeasty traces, more earthy and mineral notes on a very good long finish. Give it time to mature.
