2021 Schweigen Sonnenberg Spätburgunder VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken "KB", Pfalz, Germany

Firm and quite deep, slightly smoky aroma of red and a little black berries with cherry nuances, a little herbs, increasingly pepper and floral nuances slightly reminiscent of lavender. Polished, fine-juicy, quite noble, cool fruit with youthful, yet fine tannins, smoky, slightly nutty and again herbal aromas, toasty and smoky wood aromas, some pepper, minerality in the background, still undeveloped, persistent, certain depth, very good, tight, tart-juicy finish with grip, some smoke and plenty of salt. Still needs to mature.
