2021 Mittelheim St.Nikolaus Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, a hint of nuttiness with restrained, fine yellow fruity aromas, delicate herbs and floral traces as well as earthy and almost a little undergrowth and tobacco nuances in the background. Quite dense, firm, juicy, not quite dry fruit, moderate smoky notes and barrel tones, some herbs on the palate, floral and black berry hints, fine, lively acidity, grip of crumbly tannin, has power and certain melting, good depth, tobacco traces, distinct minerality, very good, firm, grippy and juicy finish with quite dark, partly ethereal spiciness.
