2020 Rüdesheim Berg Rottland Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Relatively calm citrus, apple and peach scent with minty-herbal and delicately floral aromas and some anise. Tart, slightly muted fruit, planty aromas, a hint of mushrooms, fine acidity, nutty hints, noticeable tannin that is still drying a little, a little dark berries in the background, tobacco and yeasty traces, clear minerality reminiscent of rock flour, firm structure, almost compact, a hint of blueberries, very good finish with almost menthol-like herbal tones.
