2019 Rüdesheim Berg Schlossberg Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Relatively tart, firm and deep, yet still almost closed, dried-vegetable to herbal scent with yellow-fruity, slightly yellow-spicy and clearly mineral notes. Ripe, firm, juicy, partly candied, sweetish fruit, fine, ripe acidity and grip of crumbly tannin, nutty and very slightly buttery tones, persistent, tart-spicy and very mineral, certain depth, a hint of dark berries, hints of liquorice, very good, firm, sweetish, ripe-fruity and spicy finish with fennel notes.
