2016 Erbach Steinmorgen Riesling trocken VDP.Erste Lage, Rheingau, Germany

Nose stil slightly muted, prominent vegetal notes, slightly exotic yellow fruit, dried floral notes, fairly prominent mineral notes. Ripe, slightly off-dry fruit on the palate, still slightly muted and yeasty,cereals, nutty and buttery traces, lively acidity, integrated tannins, earthy and prominent salty mineral notes, good persistence, hint of sugar candy, some coffee grinds, red berries in the background, light herbaceous notes and juniper, good to very good, again slightly sweetish finish.
