2016 Erbach Hohenrain Riesling Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Slightly yeasty nose, vegetal and dleicate waxy notes, candied citrus fruit and ripe pomaceous fruit, floral notes, prominent earthy and mineral notes. Ripe, fairly tranquil fruit on the palate, tart yellow spice, vegetal and waxy traces, elegant acidity, ripe tannins provide firm grip, hint of tobacco, nut shells and deep-fried herbs in the background, fairly intense earthy and salty mineral notes, some depth, full body, slightly noticeable warm alcohol, very good finish.
