2016 Chardonnay trocken MJ, Baden, Germany

Tart nose, partly dried vegetal and earthy notes, peppery and light smoky notes, restrained yellow fruit slightly dominated by citrus notes, fairly prominent mineral notes. Ripe, warm, creamy fruit on the palate, lots of oak, smoky notes, peanuts and some buttery caramel, persistent with good substance, full body, very elegant acidity, integrated tannins, warm style with noticeable warm alcohol, initially slightly astringent, then increasingly creamy on a good to very good finish.
