2021 Ingelheim Pares Spätburgunder Grosses Gewächs trocken, Rheinhessen, Germany

Clear, youthful red and a little black berry nose with restrained smoky aromas, delicate barrel tones as well as plant and floral traces, some meat, herbs and pepper. Lean and cool, tart, fine-juicy fruit, delicate smoky aromas, some acidity and fine sandy tannin, moderate barrel tones, good persistence, herbs and salt in the background, has polish, still young, very good, tart-juicy finish.

Best to drink: Mitte 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
