Clear, polished nose of mixed berries and cherries with restrained smoky and dried-vegetable to tobacco tones and moderate barrel notes. Cool, tart, somewhat sour cherry fruit with nutty and smoky tones, a hint of coffee and dark chocolate, crumbly-sandy tannins, salty notes, becomes even juicier with air, good to very good finish.
