Clear, polished, slightly smoky nose with fine berry tones, a hint of herbs and tobacco as well as cherry and floral nuances. Ripe, rather tart fruit with smoky and slightly bitter-chocolatey wood notes, some coffee on the palate, salty minerality, slightly sandy tannins, still undeveloped, juniper and peppery nuances, very good, firm finish. Needs to mature a little more.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2029+. What our ratings mean
