Fairly firm, deep nose, black berries with some rose hips and redcurrants, floral nuances, some dried soup herbs, pepper, smoky oak, beetroot and aubergine in the background. Firm, ripe, juicy, quite dense fruit, herbaceous notes reminiscent of beetroot and a little aubergine, crumbly, sandy tannins, restrained bite, very light tobacco and ashy wood, persistent on the palate, a hint of cloves, mineral tones in the background, very slightly roasted on a very good, concentrated finish.

Best to drink: Ende 2024 bis 2032+. What our ratings mean
