Slightly smoky and dried-vegetable to tobacco-like aroma of ripe red and black berries with malty nuances, a little tomato paste, root vegetables and smoke. Ripe, tart, juicy fruit with smoky, slightly nutty, tobacco notes reminiscent of tomato paste, a little black olive and a hint of malt on the palate, crumbly, sandy tannins, persistent, certain power, clearly salty in the background, roasted, woody nuances, a hint of pepper and aubergine, very good, firm finish with juice, tart spice and grip. Keeps excellently and even benefits from aeration.
