Im Mund dicht und fest, viel Stoff, feine Säure und noch eine Spur staubiges Tannin, etwas altes Holz am Gaumen, Champignons, kühle Mineralik, sehr tief und nachhaltig, ausgezeichnete Balance, traditioneller Stil, komplex und lang. Kein Wein für Liebhaber moderner, sattfruchtiger und schokoladig-holzwürziger Schmeichler, aber ein wunderbarer, nobler Klassiker.
