Riesling Brut, Pfalz, Germany

Cool, clearly vegetal and slightly herbal, moderately yeasty citrus-apple nose with a hint of woodruff. Slender fruit with nutty, yeasty, herbal and floral notes, present, somewhat superficial perlage, smoky notes on the palate, certain acid bite, buttery traces, a little mushroom, a hint of dark berries in the background, slightly metallic hints, good, tart, cool finish with a delicate bitterness.
