2020 Ungstein Herrenberg Chardonnay Spätlese trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Editor note: Nutty and somewhat woody, also a hint of tobacco aroma of ripe yellow fruits with buttery and delicately smoky notes. Ripe, quite juicy fruit, fine acidity, fresh vegetal and floral nuances, some candied citrus fruit on the palate, hints of yellow spice, chalky nuances, certain fullness but also bite, a hint of butter, good to very good, hinted floral-perfumed finish with light wood notes.
