Developed, somewhat petroly, floral and vegetal nose with citrus-accented yellow fruity notes and a hint of smoke. Relatively firm, sweetish fruit with lively acidity and noticeable grip, again smoky and tart vegetal notes, good substance and a certain persistence, a little candle wax, salty-metallic minerality, good to very good, again sweetish finish with bite and fine sandy tannin. Holds up much better than expected and has also integrated the rather high sweetness well.

Editor note: Cool, fairly restrained but also fairly firm nose, light yeasty and vegetal notes, yellow fruit, hint of mushrooms, delicate floral aromas. Fairly firm, slightly juicy, rather sweet fruit on the palate, yeasty, nutty, vegetal and earthy notes, touch of yellow spice in the background, elegant acidity, integrated sandy tannins, light mineral notes in the background, some substance and persistence, good to very good sweetish finish. Actually much too sweet for a wine that is nominally dry.
