2019 Iphofen Silvaner trocken "The Golden Age", Franconia/Franken, Germany

Clearly vegetal and somewhat yellow-spicy aroma of ripe yellow fruits with some corn, a touch of varnish, bacon mushrooms as well as herbal and floral nuances. Quite dry, warm fruit with smoky, nutty and vegetal flavours, fitting acidity and some grip, persistent on the palate, quite powerful and dense, very slightly drying tannin, a little brown butter in the background, a lot of power and noticeable alcohol, again some varnish in the background, very good, tart, a hint of drying finish.
