2023 Piesport Riesling trocken, Mosel, Germany

Firm and quite deep, still somewhat yeasty aroma with fine stone fruit and citrus flavours, a hint of smoke and herbal-vegetable nuances with a hint of black berries. Ripe, polished, juicy, slightly sweetish fruit, lively, very fine acidity and some grip, herbal notes on the palate, still a little nutty and yeasty flavours, floral traces, persistent, cool mineral tones in the background, still undeveloped, very good, firm, juicy and finely spicy finish.
