Somewhat developed, slightly smoky and moderately woody nose of ripe black berries with a little dried floral and dark ethereal notes. Slightly ripened fruit also in the mouth, smoky and toasty, very slightly bitterish wood flavours, crumbly-sandy tannin, some warmth, some acid bite, salty notes in the background, hints of sooty tones, good to very good finish.

Editor note: Light smoky, toasted, spicy oak on the nose, partly preserved dark fruit, spicy aromas, whiff of cocoa. Ripe, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, lively acidity, toasted oak, persistent and gripping, herbaceous notes in the background, firm bite, slightly salty, quite fresh, slightly astringent tannins, good to very good finish.
