2021 Schelingen Kirchberg Chardonnay trocken Réserve, Baden, Germany

Quite firm, slightly smoky and nutty aroma with clear pome fruit and citrus flavours, fine vegetal tones, broccoli, almonds, marjoram and light wood notes. Clear, polished, ripe, finely juicy, rather light-coloured fruit, delicate smoky and nutty tones, light barrel tones, very fine acidity, some grip, good substance and persistence, clear buttery notes on the palate, a hint of coffee, salt in the background, smoky nuances, a little herbal, becomes a little broader with air, wood and alcohol become clearer, very good, clear finish.
