2021 Schelingen Kirchberg Grauburgunder trocken Réserve, Baden, Germany

Nutty and somewhat smoky nose, partly candied citrus fruit with stone fruit notes, some pomaceous fruit, hint of bacon and yellow spice, hint of butter, aniseed and tobacco. Tart, relatively bright fruit, a certain acidic bite and light tannin, dried vegetal and ashy nuances, light wood notes and a hint of caramel, ashy traces in the background, also chalky-salty tones, quite clearly noticeable alcohol, very good, tart, increasingly juicy finish with air.
