2020 Schelingen Kirchberg Grauburgunder trocken Réserve, Baden, Germany

Somewhat vegetal pome fruit aroma with citrus nuances, light nutty and smoky barrel wood notes, vanilla and a little mushroom, hints of bacon and tobacco. Ripe, melting, warm fruit, again smoky, nutty and vanilla-spicy wood flavours, some butter and almost creamy tones on the palate, certain sweetness, noticeable alcohol, goes into the breadth, salty hints in the background, good to very good finish with very light ethereal notes, certain alcohol sharpness and certain bitterness.
