2019 Schelingen Kirchberg Spätburgunder trocken Réserve, Baden, Germany

Slightly dried-herbal and tobacco woody aroma of red and black berries with some beetroot as well as floral and mushroomy-earthy nuances. Tart fruit with nutty, smoky and ashy wood, some tobacco and again clearly earthy tones, some coffee and rite beet on the palate, malty tones, some warmth, a little cola nut, almost sweet melting, delicate bite, very good finish with partly preserved fruit, chocolate and a hint of coffee liqueur.
