2021 Kleinbottwar Götzenberg Spätburgunder VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken, Württemberg, Germany

Nutty, vegetal, and somewhat tobacco-like scent of red and black berries with a hint of beetroot, distinct herbal aromas, and moderate barrel tones. Ripe berry fruit on the palate with smoky, nutty, and subtly tobacco-like wood notes, soft sandy tannins, salt in the background, good sustainability, a hint of underbrush and soot, a bit of beetroot in the background, bright mineral tones, subtly juniper, very good, quite firm, smoky, and increasingly juicy finish with dark spice, black berries, and salt.
