2013 Lemberger trocken Der Loewe von Schaubeck*****, Württemberg, Germany

Clear, fairly polished nose, delicate peppery traces, red and black berries, some old oak and tobacco, earthy and mineral notes. Tart, fairly firm, polished fruit on the palate, light smoky oak, earthy and light herbaceous notes, fine sandy tannins, good persistence, hint of tobacco, light salty mineral notes, medium body, fairly elegant style, improves with aeration, very good finish.
