2022 Hattenheim Engelmannsberg Riesling VDP.Erste Lage trocken, Rheingau, Germany

Firm, somewhat tart-vegetable to herbaceous nose, hint of bacon pomaceous and stone fruit, notes of fine root vegetables, hint of herbs. Clear, juicy, quite firm citrus fruit with a hint of Provençal herbs, dark berries and smoke, lively yet fine acidity, has a grip of ripe tannin, good persistence, salty and chalky minerality, very good, again juicy finish with herbal spice.
