2022 Nierstein Schloss Schwabsburg Riesling Auslese, Rheinhessen, Germany

Relatively concentrated, somewhat vegetal to herbaceous and delicately floral nose, slightly reminiscent of chamomile, with pomaceous and stone fruit notes and a hint of mint. Polished, juicy, very sweet fruit with light red berry flavours, a hint of honey and hints of preserved apricots, lively acidity, light tannic grip, good persistence, light minerality, very good finish with a hint of young root vegetables and light fermentation tones.
