2021 Spätburgunder "Rosenloch", Baden, Germany

Clear, fairly polished nose, more red than black berries, fine vegetal aromas, hint of tobacco, smoky oak and some dark ethereal spice. Tart, restrained, almost cool fruit, smoky-roasted wood notes again, chalky tones, a little tobacco and dark ethereal spice, quite clear salt and herbs, some depth, still undeveloped, delicately bacony, vegetal flavours, very good, firm finish.
