2014 Spätburgunder trocken, Baden, Germany

Tart nose, light oak, dried vegetal notes, red berries and a few cherries, hint of tobacco and bacon, some root vegetables and soup greens. Fairly tart fruit on the palate, vegetal and earth notes, light oak, some bay leaf and dried floral traces, fairly persistent, peppery traces, hnt of bacon, earthy and mineral notes, slightly smoky on a good finish.
