2016 trocken "Kunigunde" Piwi, Pfalz, Germany

Prominent vegetal notes on the nose, reminiscent of spinach and vine leaves, black berries and cherries, hint of juniper, earthy notes. Tart, dark fruit on the palate, slightly bitter green vegetal notes, pepper, hint of tobacco, salty mineral notes, fairly lively acidity, fine, sandy, still slightly astringent tannins, good tart finish.
