2015 Merlot trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Tart nose, delicate hint of dried herbs and some tobacco, predominantly black berries, dried flowers and very light toasted notes. Clear, polished, fairly juicy fruit on the palate, light bite, fine youthful tannins, nutty, lightly toasted oak, some cocoa and coffee in the background, straightforward style, lively, salty traces, good to very good finish.
