Im Mund kühle und zart bitterliche Mischbeerenfrucht, kräuterige und altholzige Töne, feinkörniges Tannin, erdige Anklänge im Hintergrund, hat gewisse Kraft, aber nur eingeschränkte Tiefe, ordentlicher Abgang. Erinnert stark an Pinot Noir.
