2018 trocken "In senio", Württemberg, Germany

Firm and quite concentrated, a little toasty and cedary-woody aroma of ripe dark berries, a little cherry and plum with nutty aromas, hinted herbs, slightly fleshy tones and a hint of iodine. Ripe, juicy, again quite firm fruit, partly preservative, but on the other hand also with a certain freshness, smoky, roasty wood aromas, present, still a little sandy tannin, a lot of power, clearly dry herbs, also peppery notes, minerality in the background, chocolaty nuances and citrus zest, a touch of coffee, surprising acid bite, very good, firm, juicy and spicy finish with quite clear minerality and again a little drying tannin
