Mature, warm nose, partly preserved black and red berries and plums, nutty, woody spice, some tobacco, earthy and leathery notes, some soya in the background. Ripe, quite dense, juicy fruit, nutty wood spice and a little cocoa, moderate acid bite, crumbly-sandy tannins, good persistence, has power and noticeable alcohol, but also cool sides, a little allspice in the background, herbal-vegetable traces, soya and a hint of smoke, quite concentrated, very good, juicy and woody-spicy finish. Still in form.
