2020 Schweigen Sonnenberg Pinot Noir VDP.Grosses Gewächs trocken "KB", Pfalz, Germany

Fester and quite deep, slightly roasted, tobacco-like and a hint of ashy scent of more black than red berries with cherry aromas, roasted beef fillet, rosemary and a hint of licorice. Herb-juicy, firm, quite cool fruit with distinct, smoky-roasted wood and present, fine sandy tannins, lasting on the palate, ashy notes in the background, certain minerality, good depth, still quite undeveloped, has bite and bitter stem-like notes, still completely undeveloped, very good, firm, bitter finish with plenty of salt. Needs to mature.
