Firm, concentrated and deep aroma of ripe red and some black berries with nutty wood notes, some mushrooms, hints of herbs, musk and smoke. Tight, tart, undeveloped, almost cool fruit, some acidity and fine sandy tannin, slightly smoky on the palate, a hint of bacon and Mediterranean herbs, clearly salt, a hint of citrus zest and lemon pepper, good depth, lots of chalky and somewhat salty minerality, fine, cooling ethereal spice, very good to long, tart, firm, still slightly sandy finish. Must mature.
