Firm and quite deep, fresh, nutty and somewhat smoky pome fruit scent with light woody hints, fine herbal and delicately floral aromas and a hint of tobacco. Firmly woven, ripe, juicy, dense fruit, moderate, smoky and nutty wood tones, very fine acidity and some grip, persistent, clear, tart, light minerality, still rather undeveloped, good depth, still gaining tension and precision with air, very good, firm, rather tart finish with bite, minerality and smoky tones. Has gained again with the year of maturity since the last tasting.

Editor note: Firm, somewhat herbaceous, nutty and yeasty aroma with fine yellow fruity flavours, moderate woody aromas and a hint of smoke with mineral tones. Clear, firm, tangy fruit with fine acid bite and moderate nutty wood notes, dense and persistent on the palate, quite mineral, rather cool for all its power, good depth, fine grip of crumbly tannin, very good firm tart finish.
