2016 Schweigen Pinot Noir VDP.Ortswein trocken, Pfalz, Germany

Tight, tart, slightly bacony and dried vegetable scent of mixed berries and a little cherry with mineral, mushroom and slightly tobaccoy-woody notes. Firm and tart in the mouth, relatively dark fruit with a little sooty woody aromas, firm, youthful tannin and some acid bite, dried vegetable to tobacco notes, persistent on the palate, mineral in the background, still hardly developed, some depth, very good, firm finish
