2016 Pinot Noir trocken "Heydenreich", Pfalz, Germany

Clear, firm and deep aroma of more red than black berries with restrained nutty, smoky and somewhat spicy aromas as well as a hint of tobacco and meaty nuances. Firm, tart, ripe fruit with almost a little sweetish, nutty wood spice, some smoke and hints of bacon, fine peppery-spicy and herbaceous flavours, dense, deep and persistent on the palate, distinct minerality, bacony nuances, dried mushrooms, present, yet very fine tannins, rather concentrated, still undeveloped, nevertheless at first almost deceptively accessible, then tightens with air again noticeably, very good to long, firm, herb-juicy, again smoky, tobacco, herb, mushroom and mineral finish with tart roasty flavours and plentifully train. Needs time
