2014 Schweigen Sonnenberg Pinot Noir trocken "Heydenreich", Pfalz, Germany

Firm, deep nose, elegant spicy notes, ripe red berries and a few cherries,.hint of tobacco, prominent mineral notes, delicate herbaceous traces, very fresh butter, meat, bread crust, pomegranate and moderate oak. Tart, fairly firm, still rather closed, very elegant fruit on the palate, light nutty, spicy oak, fairly prominent fine sandy tannins, still slightly astringent, cocoa and a hint of coffee, peppery notes in the background, hint of tobacco, excellent substance and depth, fairly cool style, complex, berries, citrus notes, topinambur, moderate oak and prominent mineral notes on a very good firm, fresh finish.
