2017 Grauburgunder trocken "BARON LOUIS", Baden, Germany

Tart, firm and quite deep, nutty and somewhat smoky and woody-spicy, also a hint of tobacco on the nose with pome fruit and citrus notes as well as floral traces. Quite firm in the mouth, ripe fruit with smoky and nutty tones, very fine acidity, somewhat dry and covering tannin, vanilla on the palate, a hint of tobacco, chalky-salty mineral tones in the background, persistent on the palate, has power with moderate alcohol, a certain depth, very good, tart finish with smoke, tobacco and salt, with only the wood tannin drying out a little.
