2014 Oberrotweil Eichberg Spätburgunder trocken "BARON PHILIPP", Baden, Germany

Relatively tart, somewhat developed, predominantly red berry nose with a hint of ethereal dried herbs and meaty, bacon-like tones and dried flowers. Ripe, warm red fruit, slightly roasted and smoky oak notes, bacon again, plus some cocoa and vanilla, present, fine sandy, very slightly drying tannins, some bite, cooling elements, noticeable salt, very good, again slightly drying finish with smoky, bacon and herbal tones.
