Relatively concentrated nose with rather tart aromas of ripe yellow fruit, dried vegetal and nutty notes, a hint of smoke, dried flowers and restrained barrel notes. Ripe, melting, slightly warm fruit, nutty, smoky and moderately woody spice, very fine acidity and some grip of crumbly tannin, delicate honey and candy notes on the palate, certain sweetness, persistent, has more power than the 13% alcohol would suggest, waxy nuances, stony and salty tones in the background, a hint of caramel, very good, still very slightly phenolic-drying finish.
