2022 Forst Jesuitengarten Riesling trocken "GL", Pfalz, Germany

Clearly vegetal nose, slightly reminiscent of spinach, with nutty and restrained yellow fruity aromas as well as a hint of pine nuts and some egg white. Sweet fruit, again with nutty and vegetal notes, a little lemony acidity, noticeable crumbly-sandy tannin, hints of smoke in the background, dark berry and floral nuances, some persistence and power, slightly noticeable alcohol, some bitterness, good to very good, a touch drying finish.
