About Weingut Eugen Müller

One of the best producers of the region The wines keep constant high level and are usually the best in their respective category in the area.

The winery is located in the municipality of Forst (Mittelhaardt-Deutsche Weinstraße area) in the German wine-growing region of It emerged in 1935 from a cooperage with viticulture that had already existed since 1767. In 1971, it was taken over by Kurt and Elisabeth Müller. After training as a winemaker in a Palatinate winery and at in the Rheingau, in and gaining practical experience at the winery in Australia's , their son Stephan Müller has been working at the winery since 2000. Jürgen Meißner is the cellar master. The vineyards cover 17 hectares of vines in the single vineyards , , , , Stift and (Forst). They are planted with the main variety Riesling (about three quarters of the area), the other white wine varieties Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris, and about 10% with the red wine varieties Pinot Noir, Dornfelder, Portugieser, Cabernet Cubin and Dunkelfelder. The wines are cool-fermented in oak barrels; individual red wines and Pinot Blancs are matured in barriques. wines are a speciality. Around 145,000 bottles of wine are produced annually
