2016 Sauvignon Blanc trocken Fumé, Pfalz, Germany

Prominent green bell peppers on the nose, light yeasty notes and some smoky oak, restrained green and yellow fruit and some earthy notes. Fairly juicy fruit on the palate, more prominent green vegetal notes, light smoky oak, noticeably sweet, good substance and persistence, elegant acidity, light tannic touch, chalky and salty traces in the background, hint of bacon, very good finish, but not really suitable for this obvious fumé style.
